From Mentee to Design Associate – A Journey of Purpose & Positivity

What started as a 6-month mentorship through the Silhouette Awards was never meant to end there. I knew it the moment I met @andra_munro_design — Andra Munro, a UK-based interior designer, lighting designer, and porcelain artist with a radiant smile and unwavering spirit.

Andra is one of those rare souls you’ll never catch frowning—she’s a believer, a fighter, and a bringer of light. Despite personal challenges during the mentorship, she never once let them show. Her energy, positivity, and passion are contagious—and today, I’m so proud to welcome her as a Design Associate.

As a kid, I dreamt of opening a studio in the UK. That dream is slowly manifesting—and Andra’s presence in our journey is no coincidence. We’re both spiritual, and I truly believe this connection was written in the stars.

To fellow Silhouette Awards mentors—yes, we’re all busy professionals, but the time you carve out for your mentees can truly transform lives. Mentorship isn’t just about teaching—it’s also about learning. I’ve learned so much from Andra, and I’m deeply grateful.
